A general point and know nothing about this case but speed is an obvious issue in a lot of cases but should they start announcing if people were or were not wearing seat belts? Tough on the victim’s family but if it even stopped one fatality.

None of that would be announced until the inquest.
You can’t just have guards making condemnations without actually investigating the circumstances.

Yeah can understand that I suppose. Releasing that info after the inquest won’t have the same impact. I’m sure emergency services have enough experience to know though.

:sleepy:terribly sad

The mother of the brother and sister who died in Clonmel showed extraordinary strength to speak so beautifully at their funerals today, I had a lump in my throat listening there on the news just now

Just desperate the whole thing.

Speed wasn’t the defining reason I’m told, just bad luck & and the car was a convertible I’m told.

A clip a foot another way they’re all ok :pensive:

Can’t even contemplate what they are dealing with.

Life is utterly brutal at times.

The universe throws up horrific things and we just have to deal with it. We are emotional creatures and it is agony.

I’m glad she felt well enough to do that. Not that I can really comment on it.
