Road to Superbowl XLV

Terrible idea.

What is this? I’m not sure if it’s literally skipping between games depending on whether the ball is in the red zone or not? Is it?

yeah not sure about it myself. probably think its good though. if the patriots arent on, I watch the redzone channel on the internet anyway, so it’ll save me having to hook it up. and will have the patriots live on the laptop then. if nothing else, it’ll keep Nick from calling out stupid things, like saying the bengals went offside on a field goal attempt by the saints when they were actually lining up for a 4th down conversion, which are 2 very different things. and at least with redzone, it’ll stay on the best and most defining game, whereas sky could (and usually do) pick a lame ass dead game thats done after 1 quarter and they only keep showing it coz they’re stuck with it. nothing worse than watching a live game when there is another one that is brilliant on.

altho I do think it should be a red button option, rather than taking the whole coverage. ini fact, they should have the red button option always as being the red zone channel. taking away the red button this year was ridiculous.

and yes, bandage pretty much that. if a team is on the verge of scoring, or else is deep in trouble. it basically goes to wherever something happens like an interception or fumble or big play or score. usually it focuses on one game, and flies around to the other ones

I’ve had access to this all season and not once put it on. From what I know you’ll see every play inside the redzone within at least 60 seconds of the play happening.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81cbf9f6/article/chargers-will-stay-in-san-diego-for-at-least-one-more-season

The Chargers recently announced that owner Alex Spanos is looking to sell a minority stake to help with estate planning. The 87-year-old Spanos, a billionaire developer who lives in the northern California city of Stockton, revealed two years ago that he suffers from dementia.

move to LA has been on the cards for a while, wonder if it will happen next year. Other than the Jags, its hard to see any franchise moving in the next few years. but I’d expect to see LA get a team in that time.

Cassell could be out for their game on Sunday too. would be a big loss in an important game. wini that, and they are virtually guaranteed their playoff spot.

They said they’re staying in San Diego for next year at least but if that comment is coming from Spanos they may very well end up in Loompaland.

The Eagles are coming to Dallas for revenge. Vick will destroy them and our wide receivers will absolutely burn their secondary. This is going to be a riot.

Fly Eagles. Fly.

Anyone signing in for the Indy game tonight? Might catch the second half after coppers

I might get up to watch the 2nd half. I’m up early in the morning anyway.

“great”

I watched a bit of the second 1/4. The Titans were looking like they weren’t going to do anything went I decided it was quit time.

Why in the name of jaysus are they not showing the Pats @ Bears game on Sky? Ridiculous.

I caught the final quarter.
Titans made a game of it but in the end were flattered by the scoreline.

What an ending to the Redskins game. High snap on the extra point in the last few seconds and they miss the chance to level it.

Fox had been feeding is the wrong down information on that drive which didn’t help my viewing enjoyment.

Green Bay with a disastrous loss in Detroit.
Ended 7-3.
Rodgers out with a concussion.
Green Bay need to win the lot from here out. Giants, Patriots and Bears.

Sky’s coverage is much improved with the introduction of Red Zone.

The 49ers are going to the play-offs. Mark my words.

It is if they mix in with full live games.
Just showing red zone is lame though.

They have been tonight though, they’re just showing Red Zone when the main game is on a break and Sky aren’t or between games. Did they say they were going to go to Red Zone instead of an actual game - wasn’t really listening to them about it.
