My channels have been gone for weeks, is Flair back wrestling in the ring or just working a storyline?
No he’s not wrestling, but he does throw a few digs every now and then the legend.
Mr. Kennedy is back.
Flair is back to make money after his most recent divorce. He’s back because he needs to pay legal bills. End off. He’s also the ambassador to ROH now.
In short Flair is an asshole.
Why did they have him on RAW if they were gonna release him a few days later?

Superstars are no longer released from the WWE. The buzzword in the IWC is that they are “future endeavoured”
Reports are that he gave Orton a dangerous back suplex. I didnt see it but apparently Orton was visibly annoyed and made a gesture towards Kennedy in-ring after it. Rumour is that Orton, who has considerable pull with Vince, went to Vince about it and this probably led to his release. The more likely reason is that he almost injured himself again (wrist) in the match and his propensity for getting injured was a major worry and they didn’t want to waste time developing his character again only for him to get injured again.
Interesting stuff. Any you tubes of the incident with Orton, lads? Strange enough given he’s just been in a movie too, hasn’t he? You’d think they’d need him around to promote it or maybe it’s already been out?
Just found this on another forum http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVeERPwqmX8
Look at around 35-45 seconds into the video. Orton is basically a no talent fuck. That’s the way a back suplex should be delivered (not the usual rubbish you see from ME WWE superstars).
Orton is a mong.
Very surprised to hear of Mr. Kennedy’s departure. It must have been a sudden decision by Vince as WWE had been quite patient with him waiting for his long-term injury to subside. When he returned the other night he made a speech about going for Orton’s title and i thought WWE were going to seriously push him over the coming months. It’s a pity as i’d be a big fan of his. He’d good ability and was superb on the mic. His exchange with Orton at the start of last weeks RAW struck me as being very real. They looked at each other with genuine disdain. I suppose he’ll show up on TNA now.
He must be TNA bound. He’s friends with AJ and has a good relationship with TNA after a few appearances with them in the early days.
At the start of tonights RAW:
WHOOOOOH!!!
Flair came out and challenged Orton to a last man standing match in the parking lot. Orton accepted.
I thought Flair was retired.
If Flair does compete tonight (or indeed any other night for that matter) it’ll make a total mockery of one of the most epic matches in recent memory - Flair v HBK at Wrestlemania 24. Don’t do it Flair, for the love of god.
Flair is a cunt, a total cunt. WWE are cunts, total cunts. He has had to withdraw from upcoming ROH appearances and anything that has been already filmed is not being broadcast. Flair has said himself that he will wrestle abroad in Japan, Mexico etc but will not wrestle in the USA. I hate the prick.
TNA v WWE Ratings
Wrestling viewership for the week ending in 5/17: iMPACT drew over 57,000 viewers, the highest rated RAW was the Thursday replay which drew 58,000, while all of the Smackdown airings did below the 45,000 mark.
An Ultimate Fighter replay drew 30,000 viewers, but it shows on Virgin 1 which is a better station than any station wrestling is on and always gets more viewers.
Good to see over this side of the pond people know the splan. On other weeks iMpact beats Raw.
WWE’s at a very low ebb indeed.
I’ve barely watched it since Mania. Bits and pieces here and there. Smackdown is actually pretty good at the moment. RAW is just utter tripe.
I’d still watch it ahead of TNA any day. But Vince needs to kick things up a notch. I think the main problem is that they’ve watered it down to appeal to young kids now. In the 90’s during it’s peak, it wasn’t aimed at kids.
Correct.
98-02 were its peak years. I’ve read recently that Vinces idea at the moment is that he wants RAW to be the Sports Entertainment show which is the most dire wrestling show ever at the moment. Smackdown to be the wrestling show which he has accomplished by stacking the roster with the majority of the best in ring talent. ECW to be the developmental show.
TNA has its failings but is still better than whats being offered by WWE. Bus as I’ve said ROH is by far the best being offered at the moment.
