I’m not quite sure; I think Kev might know a man that knows Keane trains terribly and is a disruptive influence in dressing rooms despite managers, players and journalists en masse suggesting otherwise.
Keane has cleared up any remaining confusion about how the rags interpreted this story today:
“I will make it clear: I have no intention to retire at all. I want to play as long as I can.
“I think you have seen over years, I have always been committed and always wanted to play for my country, and that will never change.
“I don’t like to predict what is going to happen in three or four years’ time with injuries and what have you.
“I will just take each campaign as it comes, look forward to this campaign and hope we can qualify. :guns:
“I was just asked the question that if someone came in and the manager felt it was time for me to be pushed aside, I would be fairly happy.
“If someone young and fit came in and did a better job than me, I would be happy enough.”
This was cleared up a while back Rocko as you can see on the previous page. A non story promoted by cretinous neanderthals who dont appreciate Irelands greatest ever striker.
I fully appreciate the flat faced one but Ken Earley on Newstalk there was suggesting that Robbie had actually reiterated today that he would walk away if not first choice anymore, which is his choice I suppose, but I’d be disappointed if he did it.
You’re not giving MBB much of an angle there now are you Gola?
There is always an angle Caoimhaoin.
Kurt.
Has Earley the potential to be as big a tool as Gilroy. They would be two extremely annoying cunts to have a few pints with.
True.
