Youâd be absolutely delighted for Ralston on a personal level. What a victory for his own perseverance and belief.
I can only speak for myself but I disagree with Craigan.
The invasion didnât take away any of my enjoyment of the goal.
The Ross County TV commentator guy was fine all through. Craigan, on the other hand, was a complete nuisance and particularly so at the end.
The funny thing is I found it actually added to my enjoyment of the goal.
The lads on Celtic tv are great one eyed commentators. I was actually worried that the referee would use the pitch invasion as an excuse to abandon the game. Slightly irrational but.
We got out of jail there. Reasonable build up play, but too often no target or end product.
Ah that was epic though. A highly entertaining game as often only Scottish football can be, where it only ever feels seconds away from an incident.
Moffat looks promising. Caught one snap shot nicely, and looked mobile and unafraid to show.
In fairness to the Ross county defender, ralston used him as a starting block for the jump, and he didnât go to ground like many would have. That would have been a free out at ibrox.
I canât stand the Celtic TV commentators to be honest.
They are the Celtic version of âwhits he dain tam?â
One sounds like heâs from up north Aberdeen way.
Like having a cavity search?
Yep, Ralston was quickest to read the flight of the cross, came around on a bit of a loop and jumped early using yer man for leverage. It was outstanding to be fair. Echoes of that Scott Brown won the league late winner at Kilmarnock 3 or 4 years ago in terms of significant of goal/win.
Sorry now @Bandage but Brownâs goal put Celtic 8 or 10 points clear in February or March.
The young bhoyâs goal tonight only keeps us on Rangers tail.
I donât see them being of equal significance. Tonightâs was far more important imo.
Wasnât Brown sent off after that goal aswell ?
Didnât realise it was an injury as he didnât seem to be injured, thought it was just managing his workload given he has not played much football in the past 2 years and has been prone to niggles.
How is Liam Scales getting on?
good
needs to find a position for him though
