That sort of decision by Collum is just unbelievably bad refereeing. He has clearly not seen any touch by O’Riley there so he’s gone for the “clever” decision based on the defender appealing.
Jjjjjjoooooooooottttttaaaaaaaaaa
(Don’t think that should be a penalty. His arm is up and in an unnatural position but it’s one of those close contact ones).
Andy Walker making a fool of himself though in claiming it didn’t hit his arm when it’s crystal clear.
You’d respect Andy Walker saying it’s a ridiculous non-penalty if he hadn’t been completely silent when worse handball ones have gone against Celtic. He’s some gimp.
Ah he’s thick. As well as being annoying, his analysis and assessment of a game is useless.
He’s been raving about the young Ross County centre back who has touched the ball twice by my count (and played it out to touch with one of those).
That’s a penalty by the rules as they’ve been implemented. I just don’t like the rule. But Andy doesn’t know the rule and can’t see what’s happening anyway. But he has his mind made up before he even sees it. Bizarre that nobody on Sky noticed the appeal and thought it was for the Kyogo incident.
I thought Iwata was good in that half. The centre backs and full backs (Taylor and CCV in particular) haven’t noticed him in space a few times, or aren’t used to playing with him and weren’t sure of his movement into space. He played McGregor into a great area one of the times we played a little ball ahead of him.
That was some miss by Kyogo a while ago. Second half has been sloppy enough but feel they’re possibly running themselves into the ground & Celtic should capitalise late on. Not good to see Taylor go off, hopefully it’s just a dead leg. There’s a fair drop off from him to Bernabei based on the patter’s displays this season.
Have missed a load of chances here, pretty sloppy post international break display.
Beeeerrrrrnnnnaaaabbbbeeeeiiiiii
Bbbbbbbeeerrrrrrnnnnaaaabbbbbeeeiiiiii
Think we’ve struggled a few times after international breaks. But still had a hatful of chances there. Our general play was poor enough throughout and we were weak on the ball at the start of the second half. Even when we regained control we still made a few errors around the back. And missed a glut of chances.
Thought Oh was really good.
Nice to answer the daily ranger’s screaming headline about the huns “closing the gap to six points”. That’s the main thing.
Not great but after an international break it was always going to be difficult. Shooting practice for everyone all week ahead of Saturday. I wonder how Beale will approach that game. Play all the wonder kids like Tillman and Cantwell or clog everything up and hope to not get embarrassed, nick a point even?
And just when I thought the weekend wouldn’t get any better
Meanwhile at Ibrox in the B team derby…
If Tillman was coached to shoot on site he’d have a load of goals … he gets on such good positions but often passes instead of taking shot …
Stranger in a very strange land.
Is he any good? He’s done absolutely nothing in the last 2 games against Celtic. I don’t know if he played in the 4-0 back in September.
He’s been shocking in the Celtic games but he has something …he could be a very good player …Beale plays to his strengths way more than Gio did …a baller of a midfielder like Cantwell or the Belgian will pick him out more too
He played and was subbed off when the game was lost as I recall. I don’t think he’s much above average to be honest. Wouldn’t think he’d get in the Celtic team
