Sligo are under serious pressure finacially, the likes of N’do, Danny North and Barraclough don’t come cheap, they are not quite in the same shit as the BSC or Dundalk but their application for a premier division license next season may not be as straightforward as previous years

Good save by Jansson from Boco to maintain the 1-goal deficit and it’s half time now. Pretty good game - Sligo playing some nice football on the break but Shamrock Rovers have faded after starting brightly and have gone too direct as it wore on.

He is atrociously bad allright, Rovers keeper is very shaky also.
Kilduff on for former hun tommy stewart now, Kilduff was prolific at UCD and scored in Greece against PAOK last year, we will see what he has now.
I am most impressed with Benin international Raymond Boco for Sligo

Sligo much the better team, Shams miss the presence of Alan Mannus and you can see how shaky they are at the back, the look incredibly static and nervous back there, Hawkins’ best days are long behind him and with our mate Gilbert they are a disaster , also Hawkins dosent have the same presence as Oman or even Murray as an attacking option for corners.
Conor Powell also is not good enough.
Sligo have some fine players, Ndo, Quigley, Boco, Ventre , they have the luxury to bring Cretaro from the bench and also to think that Danny North is out injured denying them a big goalscoring threat…

Sligo will take the point, Kenny under pressure now
