Roy Keane - Sky Sports Pundit / Walkers Leprechaun / Adidas Champion

No.

Keane actually retired before he went to Celtic.

You’re dealing with the celtic set here pal. Best off letting it go.

Ferguson broke his heart

Dermot Desmond paid for his MOTM award. The only thing of note he did during the match was make a stupid foul on Dildo Prso and got booked.

There’s not many times you’d take Fergie’s side in an argument but this is certainly one

Could they both not be wrong?

Either way, Ferguson tossed him aside like a used Condom.

Celtic :joy::see_no_evil:

Getting stabbed in the back like that meant all he was fit for was the knackers yard, or as the locals call it, the SPL.

His heart wasn’t in Celtic. It was like Paidi going to Westmeath or Mickey to Louth. It’s a rebounder.

True for ya. They’re nearly as bad as the Limerick ultras

Lads that follow sports are losers

Think he said in his autobiography that he had offers from Real Madrid and Everton too but the lure of Celtic was too strong being an Irishman. In hindsight maybe he should have tried Madrid (Thomas Gravensen was playing for them at the time).

I recall Keane being stone useless in this scoreless derby game in April 2006. Hooked after an hour.

Same day Ronan O’Gara goaded us die hard Leinster supporters down in Lansdowne Road, jumping over advertising hoardings and everything.

Fairly sure he said he played shit and it was an easy decision to retire. He knew he was done.

Gravesen was a mistake

They were after Lee Carsley

They were.

Yeah he knew he was done after Celtic but he liked the idea of tipping along in a star studded Madrid side when the offer was made shortly after his row with Fergie. Real Madrid were random enough in their recruitment around 2005/06.

Keane lacked the gumption to go to the continent
