Roy Keane - Sky Sports Pundit / Walkers Leprechaun / Adidas Champion

So how did they do so well without him in the World Cup?

they could-could have doing better. dont get me started on this buddy

Roy Keane played when he liked…

Robbie Keane played…

Roy Keane was consistantly consistant

At sitting in his Manchester sitting room

no# winning

Apart from when he faked an injury to not turn up for playoff matches

He wasn’t consistent for Ireland. He turned up when it suited him

Keane lining out for United at 12:45 on the Saturday after not going to Tehran on the Wednesday has always left a sour taste in the mouth.

cosistantly consistant when on the field. this is the point, an animal, a freak of nature. its not about his ego

He was neither of those things, whatever they are.

You left out Eoin Morgan.

Morgan failed at Test Match cricket and presided over an epic bottle to the Windies in the T20 final. A one hit wonder based on a scruffy victory in the 50 over format.

He’s a wuddeld champion in the most popular sport in the world.

Morgan’s IPL exploits were more successful than Robbie Keane’s sojourn in India so on that basis I’ll agree that Morgan replaced Robbie on the list

Roy Keane eh?

I could write a book on my views on him. They flip flop like fuck.

Ultimately, for me, he was Ireland’s greatest ever player, part of what made him so great for me makes him the controversial contradiction that he is now, and always was,

There is one question which he needs to be asked. If McCarthy’s carry on accusing him of not playing when he could after input from his club was so bad, then why did Keane himself go after Walters and Arter for doing the very same thing?

Didn’t play sport

Keane was more than just a great footballer, he was a force of nature.
We can only assume that the classroom assistant from Lerwick was an even greater force of nature.
