Roy Keane - Sky Sports Pundit / Walkers Leprechaun / Adidas Champion

Hard to argue with any of that.
Harrington plays a hobby that about fifty oul bigots in nylon jumpers and pants play in half a dozen towns in any western country fiefdom.
Hardly merits a spot.

I have 3 (three) polo shirts from the Padraig Harrington golfwear range. The mother in law never lets me down.

I was punching the air when he wore down Sergio Garcia and Ian Poulter to win his majors. A class act. Not a corporate lickspittle like McGinley

Were you fully togged out for the days watching?

Podge was like the Galway hurlers, years of finishing in second place. Yet he was able to follow up his breakthrough with two more big ones. Galway went the route of Darren Clarke

Robbie pushed himself at all levels for his club and country, constantly seeking out new challenges. He always turned up for his country and nearly always produced.

Roy found a soft spot at United and dug himself in like an Alabama tick. He played 1 maybe 2 good games for his country but otherwise abandoned them particularly in their hour of need.

When he finally decided to go outside his comfort zone a hairdresser made a show of him

You’ve hit the nail on the head there mate, which is ironically what the lad playing for Clydebank who walked all over Roy Keane did for a day job.

It was Clyde not Clydebank

Sigh. I know mate.

They let him wash someone’s hair one day and he made a complete balls of it

Liverpool’s fans hatred for Keane is unreal. He destroyed gerrard every time they met and they couldn’t stomach it.

Did you see much of Keane yourself?

I’m a Liverpool fan and rate Keane. A moderate Liverpool team beat Man Utd 4 times in a row during between 2000 and 2002 with a young Gerrard battling a peak Keane. Can’t remember a huge amount of Keane playing but he seemed to be a great tackler who set the tone. Judging by the stats he was a good goalscorer early in his career.

Plenty of Liverpool fans here defending Keane, I think it’s your own obsession that’s the problem here

Gerrard was on a podcast recently and said he was the best player he played against. Alan shearer and ian Wright named him as the best player since Premier league started recently on motd. I think that’s over rated but that’s how highly rated he is by non Irish people.

You can’t bring in the opinion of players that played against him.
