RTE vs FAI - Which is the bigger shambles?

Probably not the FAI’s doing that

I brought up the GAA’s ties to Kingspan years ago. It’s an absolute shitstain on the GAA they haven’t blacklisted them.

Link?

Doesn’t the GGA rulebook say it wants a united ireland?

That’s hilarious in fairness

Who doesnt

Not many sports have rulebooks like that

Yeah i highly doubt ice hockey does tbf.

Anyway the LoL league constantly lets itself down. Any funding awarded will get pissed against the wall

Shit stadium

Full twice a year?

Qtr full for most games

A white elephant but it does get filled. Better than stadiums/grounds for a man, his dog and a lot of scrotes

It gets filled for rugby and football

Btw, why havent the GGA ditched these cunts?

Kingspan, an Irish insulation company, was implicated in the Grenfell Tower fire disaster through the use of its K15 Kooltherm insulation in the cladding system. The fire, which occurred on June 14, 2017, in London, resulted in the deaths of 72 people. While Arconic’s Reynobond PE cladding panels were primarily responsible for the fire’s rapid spread, Kingspan’s insulation also played a significant role in the controversy surrounding the building’s fire safety.

Whataboutery, the fire was an awful tragedy no less. Let the courts punish the company, why should sporting organisations drop sponsers for these matters? Man city and Newcastle are owned but regimes with horrible human rights records, again nothing been done about that. Soccer is awash of filty money. Mick Wallace owned a LoL club too, again not a beacon of the community.

What has the fai brought to irish society that has been overall positive? Theres a reason why the gaa is so successful as it brings in the whole community

Well its the most played team sport in ireland so all the benefits of team.sport and health

Its the most diverse team sport in ireland so there is the integration benefits of that

Then of course the 1000s of tourists that come in each year and of course the half a billion the euros will bring

Tourists coming into watch LoL? Billions what are you on about?

I dont see any community engagement from any soccer team anything near gaa or rubby for that matter. There is a well known soccer club near me. No one involved is involved in the community and no one local gives a shit a about them. The local gaa is the opposite only a small club but the community is all around it. “That soccer crowd” is what refer to do nothing for the locality

Yes mate, there were 3000 english fans last weekend spending an average of 500 each

So thats 1.5m.right there

A lot more people play football mate as you know its a sport so in terms of doing stuff in fhe locality, we keep people healthy

Where you live sounds shit mate. I coach for the local soccer club. All the coaches are local, as are all the kids. Theres a community fun day and barbecue next week.
