Most of my mates who went to LIT lived in a place called Stoney Meadows and spent two or three years in a crowd of hash smoke. They loved it.

Ah sure I barely knew what the lads who were living with were doing. I remember there was a fairly boisterous house of young fellas a couple of doors down from us who, now that I think of it, would fit right in with the Newmarket stereotype so I’m presuming they were your mates.
They threw a decent house party in fairness to them

McGeady1916 went to LIT also. Home to Wexford every single weekend to play soccer then. Something like a 4 or 5 hour bus journey there and back. Madness
Did the same myself Pikeman, although it probably only took me 2 hours. That road from Limerick to Waterford was and still is for the most part an absolute abomination
2 hours is nothing really. The other lad had to get 2 buses which was the real killer I’d say.
You’d cycle between Limerick and Wexford quicker then you’d get there in a bus. If I was ever heading over there I used to have to get a train to Dublin and either train down or get a lift.
were any of ye in lit around the time gleeson was student union president, he brought us all into the gallery one night for strippers :lol: brilliant. and chippendales for the girls while we were all up in pj’s knocking back pints.
i’d say every lad in the place got his hole that night.
we had some laugh and war in that place.
There was a tall ginger lad there as president when I was over there. A bit of a madman.
maybe the same lad, a farmer from tipp. utter lunatic, eventually got barred from the college for throwing a chair at some woman working in admin.
I think Eamon was this lads first name. He had a professional DJ at one of his house parties one night down in the Zoo*.
