Rugby - June 2016 End of season meaningless friendlies

Big moment at 10-10, about 10 minutes into the 2nd half. Nahola should at the very least have been sin binned for a dangerous high tackle on Liam Williams when Williams was air borne. Referee laughably said there was no intent and within a few minutes New Zealand ran in two tries in two minutes to make it 24-10. New Zealand invariably always have the best players, but its disgusting the favouritism they are afforded by officials, the IRB and how their players are generally above the laws of the game.

England lift the siege and Owen Farrell scores the Cook Cup clinching try against the run of play. England 20-7 ahead with 5 minutes to go. Incredible.

Joost is a god damn hero. I imagine most of the Irish squad really wanted to meet him if they hadnā€™t already. At training, we all used to try the classic scrumhalf pass which Joost was a proponent off.

Absolutely, canā€™t wait for it now. Its a disgrace how its been completely overshadowed by all the hype about that embarrassment of a partitionist soccer team.

The sting of a dying wasp mate, they couldnā€™t even out rate the rugby football of the RWC against Sweden. The memories of Italia 90 will always give the major association football team a boost. This is more and more a rugby football country though, capturing a broad demographic of audience. The Rastoolers Italia 90 Cubs on here with their ill fitting replica jerseys are seething.

Terrific rendition of Irelandā€™s Call led by some black South African bird.

We have these Boers at the scrum

Bokke defence is far more aggressive this weekend. Paddy Jackson will have to play some good ball playing kicks into the hole.

Frenetic start here. Need to keep them scoreless for the next 10 mins & settle into our own game.

Cmmmannn Paddy.

Get in thereā€¦

Theyā€™re really targeting Trimbleā€™s wing with the hanging ball but Payne is cleaning everything up. Great stuff.

Important three points to settle the nerves.

Thatā€™s how to answer the boo boys. You wouldnā€™t have a place kicker whistled and heckled like that at Thomond Park.

Someone get the vaseline for the Springbok pack

That was some scrum!

Tadhg Furlong has come of age as a test match tight head.

We have an amazing stock of props now. Credit to the Academies as that was a position we were weak at just 5 years ago. Amazing use of the IRFU pyramid structure bringing through grassroots players to play for Irish teams and internationally.

This is a very assured performance so far.

Oh Paddy Paddy Paddy
