Rugby Summer Tour

Genge must be the biggest carrier in the world now.

There are a lot of two match series in there. Until the last decade or so, only Australia, South Africa and the Lions played test series consisting of three or more matches in New Zealand.

Two tests was the regulation for Northern Hemisphere countries until the last decade or so.

France did not play a three match series in New Zealand until 2013, England 2014.

Ireland didn’t play at all there until 1976 and our next test there wasn’t until the Vincent Cunningham masterclass in 1992.

England are building nicely for the World Cup here.

Right now you’d say the Northern Hemisphere is where it’s at for 2023.

That broken play stuff is his forte though, not sure would I trust him to control a tight game at the top end

He’s just the spark Eddie Jones needed to turn things around. For a country with such a deep playing pool it’s a surprise to see the likes of Courtney Lawes and Danny Care still knocking around.

I’d say Jones will have England humming nicely by next spring and he’ll have them rightly primed in 15 months’ time.

Ozzies a bit premature taking Nic White off?

Care should never have been out of picture. The best 9 they have available to them

Should be a yellow coming here too

Ref extremely lenient here in the face of consistent English indiscretions

McDermott getting caught in possession and dragged into a ruck and then too bollixed to get to the next breakdown

Huge penalty for England. Rorke Drift style defending there.

He’s been shocking since introduced

How will they sell Lions tour to Australia?

You are obsessed with the lions tour

Australia are much-improved from the last time round, should be attractive enough

Shaping up to be a great day for European rugby

It is a fading concept surely?

Seems to be a massive money earner for the Southern Hemisphere sides
