Rugby World Cup 2019 - Ireland shit the pot all over again

It swung to the right in the first half, and to the left in the second mate.

‘Kin ‘ell - that was an evisceration there.:clap:

9.5 out of 10. Dropped half point due to non mention of ulster rape trial or soggy biscuit participants.

They put up a graphic of this somewhere wan time a year or so after the last lions tour. Mario Itoje had played twice as much competitive rugby over the preceding year as the highest playing irish player.
That point about the wc being a more level playing field is one I have made. Noone listens though.

Will he even know that he is playing on?

Billy will tell him.

Soccer is shite because draws are an option. If theres an impetus to win its a whole new ball game.

Its also shite in ireland as players seem to have no technical ability. Has there ever been an international team ireland have outplayed touch wise? Australia or something maybe. European knock out soccer is quite good. But not all of it and it is up for argument despite you saying otherwise.

Will they even want him to keep playing? He’s gone way off the boil.

Maybe it has no effect at all and is just a load of over analysed sensationalist bullshit like loads of things to do with rugby?

Eh draws are an option in lots of sports mate.

Bring back Zeebs.

If only Joey Carberry didn’t kick the ball to touch.

What’s with the media going softly softly with the rugby team? Is there no Roy Keane type character or analyst in Irish rugby who is not afraid to stick the boot in when needed, or is it all a cosy drinking group? Will Hermitage Green be releasing a song in tribute?

Schmidt would have murdered him if he didnt.

I could go all day

But they are of no use in most, they are not a result you go out to achieve in any other sport

The Irish media have access to the rugby players on a level that they have with no other sport, largely because they are based in Ireland as opposed to soccer players. It makes for a very buddy buddy system of “journalism”

It’s difficult to take any criticism of playing for a draw seriously from a sport that hands out a bonus point for losing FFS.

You see the same in the music industry. You’ll never see the likes of Hot Press slate a U2 or Sinead O Connor album. If they got on the wrong side of certain acts, it’d finish them

A quick change of tack there, well done

Does the bonus point not encourage some effort at least, and im talking in general im not the site rugby spokesman
