Rugby World Cup 2023/ Crochet & Knitting chit chat

It looks like South Africa haven’t tried a leg since the 2019 world cup tbf.

A takedown Cactus Jack himself would be proud of

Before poor aul Ruairi’s and most other Zombies times perhaps

Like all winning teams are to be fair.

South Africa won, but they won.

Worrying for rugby that the equivalent thread for the 2019 Rugby World Cup spilled over the 10,000 post limit and required a second thread (and even a third), while this year’s edition has topped out at just over 7 and half thousand posts.

It’s almost like they targeted the World Cup.

Wow. What a revolutionary concept

One or two lads haven’t been seen in here since the quarter final tbf

To be fair this year’s edition has largely lacked posts by @Tim_Riggins arguing about television ratings for rugby v GAA and association football which must have made up a good 15% of the 2019 threads.

Sexton called it. Takes a special coach to get that close to making a semi

We’re still hurting but you can’t deny Andy is the best coach, not just in the hemisphere, but the planet.

We lost but we won

Congrats to Fua Leiofi Bundellu on being named the best 12 on the planet.

I think they are trolling Ireland at this stage.

The Boks are good but I’d like to see them put a solid calendar year

No Fijians

Three of the semi finalists combined for 1 player.
Two beaten quarter finalists with 66% of the team.
By God.
