It might be seeing people in his community in single income households living with their nana and their uncle. Itās really fucked up and itās going on for years. They build those modulars out the Condell Road in about 6 months, why didnāt they build anything for the homeless families of Limerick as quickly, slowly or even at all? I didnāt even think they could put social housing out there, Iād heard it wasnāt suitable.
Itās not the fault of the people of Ukraine, but it should never have gotten to this re the homeless figures in Ireland.

Thatās why weāve got to look after guys. They need the structure, the foundation of a home and a community et cetera. Or else they become angry. They lose perspective and lack insight into their situation. Then they end up falling into anti social and criminal behaviour. We should all have a house lads.
They are looked after. Ireland is one of the best countries in the world for state supports.

Like loads of stuff in this country, if you access the system itās really good. We need to build a bigger Cherry Orchard and fill it equally in thirds with Nigerians, Ukrainians and inner city Irish people. World Cup semi final at the least.

I just like the guy. Itās the thing with forums, writing something online with no context. Thereād be a lot of 60 plus lads saying the same thing but you hear it in the pub or somewhere and it kind of washes over you because itās anodyne and there is a glint in the eye, and itād be the way theyād say it, it would come across pretty harmless.
Casual racism is generational I think. Iād a grandparent that was racist, but she was a great woman and she never met a black person in her life. I remember a fella nearly falling off his stool in Fennesseys when I told him Rroyston French the jockey was a person of colour. There could not be a black jockey due to bone density and the tactical nature of race riding he had thought.

I know, I have older family members who are shocking racist/sexist, the whole lot, great people otherwise, but even at that theyād have sympathy for refugees.
This is a forum, people often disagree and thatās to be expected, people say dreadful things to each other, but itās very rare that youād get a slap down for challenging somebodies extreme view, I donāt know why this chap is untouchable.
