Since 2016 Trump has done precisely nothing that would offend or inconvenience Putin, precisely nothing that would help Europe, and done everything to try and destroy Europe and any sort of decent world we might have been able to have.
It’s been as clear as day for many years that he’s a bought and paid for agent of Russia but this is not limited to Russia, he’s bought and paid for by lots of others too and essentially a Mafia con man who has used international fascism and the paraphernalia and aesthetic of dumb American action movies as the vehicles by which he could most effectively be the international criminal racketeer and extortionist he has always been.
Nobody with a functioning brain now takes the idea that Trump wasn’t a Russian asset remotely seriously and the furious arguments these idiots made in previous years have completely fallen away.
