Be some going, considering the whole point of the Russian retreat was supposedly to use the river as a barrier and they had been preparing defensive lines behind it for weeks

Itās hard to know whatās really going on with Turkeyā¦ They are NATO yet totally reliant on Russia for energy.
They are also at odds with the US for a good while now and the US is cuddling up to Greece for years, supplying them with weapons and making Greece a gas hub even tho they know Turkey and Greece are at odds over Cyprus and a lot of sea territory with natural gas depositsā¦ Not to mind Syria, Kurds etc. etc.
If it is true the US were involved in the bombingā¦ It might be time to build a bunker.

Apparently the yanks are funding the āPTKā in syria, turkey however regards them as a terrorist organisationā¦as do the yanks, but only in Turkey, not syria. That said the bombing looks to have been by the PYD, PTK funded and staffed without being technically PTK. The turks donāt make the distinction.
I suppose itās like British pilots resigning from the raf before bombing goat herders in syria, only to regret their decision and opt to rejoin, immediately upon their return etc.
