Russia Vs Ukraine (Part 2) - Neocons Strike Back

Jesus wept. All Americaā€™s fault sigh. Russia were never under any threat. Their problem is similar to that of all mentallers, baseless paranoia.

I never said it was ā€˜allā€™ anyoneā€™s fault, Russia are equally to blameā€¦ Weā€™re looking at the actions that lead to the invasion. They are there right in front of your face but you donā€™t want to see them. Thatā€™s on you, not me. Imagine being forewarned as to what would exactly happen if you interfered in the region but still going ahead and doing it :person_shrugging:t2:

Ukraine is of huge strategic importance - itā€™s the pipeline to Europe not just from Russia but beyond. The EU and US neoliberal imperialism is a cause of this conflict but because sky news havenā€™t said it yet you wonā€™t entertain it.

Just out of interest- why do you think the minsk accords werenā€™t implemented? Same question to @carryharry

Fucking hell :joy::joy::joy:

4 smiley faces has a much better effect.

Putin could have wiped out the best part of the Ukrainian army in 2014. They had them hemmed in and surrounded but this crazy murderous lunatic chose to sign a peace agreement instead - the bastard.

In fairness half the Ukrainian army were russiansā€¦about 90% of the Ukrainian navyā€¦

And yell me thisā€¦ This maniac Putin, why did he insist Donbas remains part of Ukraine in the Minsk agreement, a UN ratified treaty. We are told this murdering monster has always had imperial designs on the region :person_shrugging:t2:

I suppose he wanted a neutral demilitarised zone on his doorstep, peace for the russians that lived there and an avoidance of a wider conflict?

But shur that tallies with the US ambassadorā€™s 2008 report to Washington so, you know, it cant be true ā€¦

I thought that report said putin was a mad megalomaniac hell-bent on recreating the soviet union? And the next hitlerā€¦

Again the US is not a unified body of perpetual foreign policy. Policy changes considerably between Presidents- Bush and co favoured expasnsion. Obama reduced troops in Europe and provided little support to Ukraine. Trump wanted to go to meetings with other bigly world leaders and didnā€™t give a shit about anything else. Biden likely would have done fuck all if he hadnā€™t embarrassed the US in Afghanistan.

The two GOP candidates for the White House next time are on record as saying they donā€™t really give a shit about Ukraine.

It is a childish SU narrative to bleat on about the US as one body and one mind. Still using the term neocon in 2023  Can we get any other mid 2000s narratives from you, debt cancellation to Africa, maybe?

Itā€™s fun watching lads doing contortions to defend Russian imperialism

What do you mean by ā€œimperialismā€?

You need to repost your initial comment from when it first started. Some need a refresher. I think theyā€™re starting to actually believe that Russia are the victims in this conflict. In their heads, a US backed Ukranian army has invaded Russia.

Youā€™re asking why he didnā€™t do in 2014 what he tried and failed to do in 2022? Would you not hazard a guess?

In the absence of Russian gymnasts from the international scene a few mentallers here have decided to fill the gap.

So Russia was part of the Civil War in 2014, the instigators?

@glenshane is on the wind up tbf.

Poor @Thomas_Brady is starting to believe his posts though :hushed:
