Forgot before when Football started according to Sky Sports. At 35 still making tackles when United had their backs against the wall near the end was outstanding. In the post match interview he forgot his goal against Celtic so he is getting a bit senile but he can be forgiven for that.

Great player in his day but the old gypo is past it, he can play against the lower level teams but has been shown up against the better teams recently.
Was he ever that good against top class European position? Remember him being average enough for Wales and can’t remember too many superb European performances from him. A good EPL player no doubt but anything beyond that is stretching it imo

Giggs is one of the greatest ever United players. On his day he is still one of the best players to watch in the epl. By the way Lar he had plenty of good days in europe, Juventus were willing to pay 25m for him in 1999. Hardly willing to do shell out that much of he hadn’t impressed in the champions league.

Giggs has been a top player in fairness to him. To play at the level he has played at for so long is a tremendous achievement.
He was one of these players who could be really awful in matches but also really good and could literally drag them through by himself.
He had a few great games for United back in the late 90s in the Champions League. I remember one occassion when he destroyed Birendelli for Juventus in Old Trafford.
