The brother in law and his wife were flying back from Palma Friday to Shannon. The flight was delayed an hour on the screen so he decided to go out for a fag. I suppose he had to come back in through security but by the time he got back boarding was closed leaving him to face the music.
So they rang home and the childer booked them on a flight to Dublin the following morning. More costs, taxis, hotels, the lot.
In the morning they got to the desk to he told the flight was over booked so once again they couldn’t board.
More phone calls home resulting in a booking for Cork yesterday evening. Unfortunately this involved a taxi for €180 home to Limerick.
A pricey enough fag it was in the end. The bones on €1000. No mention of legal divorce fees at the moment.
