He said Mickelson was past it a few weeks ago.

He was asked this morning about changing to a new driver this week and replied that just because Mickelson did the same for the 2004 Ryder Cup and sprayed the ball everywhere it doesn’t mean he will.

I think Lefty’s jibe will only fire up Team Europe. I personally prefer the American players but there are two reasons why I want Europe to win.

1: Paul McGinley is an absolute gentleman and it is great to have an Irishman captain the team.

2: American wanker fans shouting “get in the hole” every time some cunt has a putt.
