USA to be 3.5 to 0.5 up after the morning fourballs.
Guys, my only concern is that Spieth and Reed despised each other in their amateur/college days and I donât believe they practiced together all week. Theyâre two incredibly talented players though with Spieth being a humble/modest gent and Reed being a cocky/arrogant prick. Who knows? Maybe theyâll gel perfectly. Reed and Poulter have potential to seriously rub each other up the wrong way. Agree with @Manuel Zelaya in that Match 2 should be an American rout. Iâm going to stay up all night so I donât miss the opening tee shots at 7.35am.
Brilliant speech by Tom Watson.
Awful speech by Paul McGinley.
This is four balls though and Watson is cleverly using their undercurrent hatred against each other to make them compete against each other to be the man to win the point. I think these will play out of their skin tomorrow and hockey out of form Poulter (who canât keep doing what he does) and Gallacher who will be shit all weekend
Great point, mate. I hadnât factored that in. Superb captaincy by the legendary Tom Watson.
McGinleyâs a partitionist cunt with his ânorthern Irelandâ
I always thought Di Dougherty was a lovely lady from as far back as the early SSN days when she was called Di Stewart and before she moved to golf presenting. Sheâs like a fine wine, getting better with age.
Thatâs harsh on Polts. He is a quintessential English man and likes to give it portions.
He has had a fine career for himself, regardless of major wins.
Heâs a cunt who has never won a major. The world is full of journeymen pros like him.

Full of half truthsâŚ
Poults is mr Ryder cup and heâll inspire gallacher tomorrow.
I suppose you can relate to that being a Waterford hurling fan.
He has an 80% rate in matches at the Ryder Cup, better than any other player ever to play in it. Journeyman is a little harsh, journeymen donât play in multiple Ryder Cups
Justin Rose / Henrik Stenson
Rickie Fowler / Jimmy Walker
Stephen Gallacher / Ian Poulter
Sergio Garcia / Rory McIlroy
they are my picks for the 4 balls, ive stuck a few quid on this and europe to win the fourball 3-1
for me the only dodgy one is the gall/poults one,ive a feeling that could be a drawâŚ
rose/stenson win
folwer/walker win
gall/poults win
rory/serg win
stuck a few quid on this and europe to win the fourball 3-1.
only one im worried about is gall/poults,i reckon that could well be a drawâŚ
Did the Rose/Stenson and McIlroy/Garcia double, pays just under 3/1.
Iâve done USA to win outright, USA -1.5 points to win and Bubba Watson to be top USA point scorer. Iâll consider doing the USA to clean sweep Europe in the morning fourballs too.
4BALLS:
Bubba Watson & Webb Simpson v. Justin Rose & Henrik Stenson - EUROPE WIN 3&2
Simpson badly out of form,Bubba prone to too many wild drives, Rose and Stenson to play steady golf and win comfortably.
Rickie Fowler & Jimmy Walker v. Thomas Bjorn & Martin Kaymer - USA WIN 2&1
Fowler to play well when the pressure is not too bad, (wait for him to fold later in the week). I just donât like the look of Bjorn and Kaymer
Jordan Spieth & Patrick Reed v. Stephen Gallacher & Ian Poulter - EUROPE WIN 4&3
Poulter in this comp speaks for himself, Gallacher has a great record around here, the crowd is worth at least 2 holes to them. Reed and Spieth is not a good match up, Watson fucking up here
Keegan Bradley & Phil Mickelson v. Sergio GarcĂa & Rory McIlroy EUROPE WIN 2&1
Bradley not in great form, Mickelson playing average golf by his standards. McIlroy in great form and Garcia not far behind, only one winner here.
Europe 3-1 winners after morning fourballs.
@Anto, I hope you donât do a disappearing act when Team USA smashes your boys. âSteady golfâ doesnât win fourball matches. You need to take risks and make birdies. Do you know anything about golf, mate?
