Saorview

House is about 100 years old, walls arenā€™t savage thick. I think I will buy those better wifi boosters now first as I have an IPTV sub Iā€™m spending Ā£80 a year for them on that has everything. Thanks for your post though.

Those TP-Links you tried, were they wifi or LAN?

I run Saorview/Freesat here with a Saorview tv and aerial and a second hand Skybox and English viewing card off a dish. Works the finest.

Thatā€™s sounds like a great IPTV Provider you have

Iā€™m fairly certain you can use the USB / Ethernet adapters for the Firestick.

Good setup, but I believe you canā€™t record with the Sky Box now?

Correct.

Plug them into the firestick?

It might be my location or something but when I retuned Saorview back in March to the TV, I got all the UK free to air channels as well. I donā€™t have any additional boxes or anything connected to the TV. Irish channels 1-12 or something like that and then BBC etc starts at 52

Iā€™d imagine your location has something to do with that.

And thatā€™s magicā€¦

Iā€™m presuming so mate.
