Interesting that men get a further 10 years before they hit their maximum earning potential.

Very good article on the ego of some scientists.

Particularly sports science.

Sports scientists arent real scientists

Ya whatever

Decent article, anything quoting Richard Feynman is generally good as he was both a great scientist and thinker. A lot of scientists do tend to get attached to their theories as they have so much effort invested in them, think it was Max Planck who said the only way things change is when the older generation die off and are replaced by people with new ideas.

Ya there is some ridiculous carry on in sports and exercise science

Attachment to ones work is certainly an issue

This is strange. I watched a documentary recently about this deepmind crowd and how they developed an AI that could beat some european champion go player.

Isn’t that just a coincidence?

It popped up on my YouTube recommendations and all I watch on YouTube is American football highlights.

When that happens the 'puter will go lazy as sin like the rest of us

What will we do without google? Or even worse a Google that spoofs

Potentially new force of nature found
