Most of those lads are very average . There has been no huge effort by EPL clubs to sign them… the current Rangers team is largely staff by English championship journeymen
Villa have the same amount of European Cups as Celtic & Rangers combined .
They are a very big club that kept support through relegations .

I’d say it’s the salary tbh. He’ll probably get 3x what he does at Rangers.

Whatever else happens in his football managerial career, he’ll always go down as the man that stopped Celtic winning 10 in a row. But enough about Neil Lennon…I think the jury’s very much still out on Gerrard’s managerial ability so it’s an interesting move for him alright.

Wow. Ross was flavour of the month/year when he was at the Wasps and then the Buddies. I recall Rodgers bigging him up at the time, saying he was the only manager in Scotland that caused Celtic tactical problems in the unbeaten season. And that was when Ross came up against us in cup competitions as a lower league manager. But that’s now underwhelming stints at Sunderland and Hibs. Surprising that they sacked him before the League Cup Final on Sunday week though.
They have 1 win in 7 in the league & attendances have been poor .
