Shaun Maloney is going to be the new Hibs manager.
Jamie mcgrath goal of the month for November.
Ideal spot for the little rat
Any chance of a pause in the domestic campaign with a few Covid outbreaks?
Could be a big boost for Celtic with their present injury problems and ability to get a few new signings in January if they were to pause things.
We will soon know if Omnicron Covid is a papist or Masonic virus
St Mirren have had an outbreak and we’re due to play them on Wednesday night.
Greek Orthodox surely?
Hopefully the Buddies can get fair play on this.
Do they still have a big Eire contingent at Love Street?
Rangers fall over the line against a Covid ravaged Dundee United . Finished 1-0 at ibrox.
Tavernier penalty

Good win for the Gers.
Apparently 10 clubs are in favour of moving the winter break with 2 against (Sevco being one of them).
Be interesting to see how the SPFL try to wriggle out of this one when it has overwhelming majority backing.
In fairness to the SPL, the default position is to stick to the original schedule.
They’re damned if they do, and damned if they don’t.
Huns would be disadvantaged by having players away at the African nations for the old firm if postponed, which wouldn’t really be fair either.
Depends when it’s rescheduled for.
Celtic are being disadvantaged by having to play the most important game of the year behind closed doors when Rangers were able to play the corresponding fixture in front of 50k of their own fans.
The majority of the clubs want this, it makes commercial sense for the league, it is not a big issue or difficult to reschedule. The only reason they wouldn’t do this is for the benefit of the minority. Any argument that contradicts this is not really going to stack up.
I can certainly understand why Rangers don’t want it to go ahead. What will be telling is will what Rangers want be more important than the best interests of everyone else in the league?
The Motherwell chairman poured cold water on that:
We have games on Sky that are regularly postponed.
Clubs need to recognise Sky’s role in this.
My understanding is that the Sky contract is for x number of games that they get to pick based on the parameters that exist within the contract.
But there isn’t anything that says x game have to be played on x date
Sometimes it appears that the huns just wait to see what Celtic want to do and push for the opposite.
Oh I agree absolutely Celtic are being hugely (potentially league threateningly) disadvantaged, but I wonder whether they could reschedule the OFG when the huns don’t have players out, to at least try to be a bit even handed.
Not in this case. It’s hugely advantageous to them to play at parkhead in front of 500.
I’d expect Celtic to do the same were the boot on the other foot (and they would I have no doubt).
There may just be twenty odd million of CL money riding on it.
Pretty much all Scottish top flight clubs have backed the proposal publicly to bring the Winter break forward 1 week early bar Rangers now.
Rangers would have faced Aberdeen away and Celtic away in the first two games of the 500 capped capacity so it’s clear that they are aided by it.
Celtic
Hibs
Dundee Utd
Dundee
Motherwell
St Johnstone
Hearts
Livingston
All have publicly backed it.
Rangers are opposed. St Mirren and Aberdeen are likely to support bringing the break forward - Ross County unknown as yet.
