Ah that’s a cracker!
The added bonus is that this keeps Gerrard in the job for another season.
They can’t sack him now as (1) they don’t have the money and (2) it gives them enough wiggle room to say he didn’t lose it on the field of play so have to persist with him.
Jaysus, that video is
Look to your Lawwells.
Surely the time is right for Gerrard to move up a level to the Championship down south
who would want him?
never underestimate the stupidity of Chairpersons of English soccer clubs .
Funny thing is rangers bossed Celtic in 2 of the 3 old firm games. Couldnt do it v small teams.
Second one in particular was alarming, though they did the same last season. The first one was partly excusable because Celtic didn’t have a striker. Or at least that offered some explanation for why the game was so one-sided.
My Celtic XI over the 9 in a row period
Forster
Lustig Van Dijk Jullien Tierney
Brown Wanyama
McGregor
Forrest Dembélé Edouard
McGregor isn’t a natural #10 but the alternatives are probably Rogic or Commons or the likes of Johansen or Stokes. Stokes is too attacking, especially with Edouard and Dembélé in the team. Rogic is quality but hasn’t been anywhere near as consistent as McGregor and has been in and out of the team too often - sometimes with injuries, but sometimes in just taking time to find his form. Commons scored goals but couldn’t really pick a pass or anything.
Only had one season from Jullien but better than Ajer. Boyata made way too many mistakes. Mulgrew and Ambrose were actually decent early on in the first Lennon reign but couldn’t pick them over Jullien.
Last call was between Roberts and Forrest. Again longevity comes into it. Forrest has had an outstanding contribution. Roberts had an excellent season and then a handful of other good games outside that.
Bench: Gordon, Mulgrew, Ledley, Armstrong, Rogic, Sinclair, Hooper
No Sammy?
Oops. I may have forgotten about Sammy. (And probably others). I’d get Sammy onto the bench anyway. Not sure he’d dislodge any of the front three though.
Where can you get Tunnocks Caramel Wafers?
They’re hard to get at the moment because the factory shut down for Covid-19 I’m afraid. So an older discount store is your best bet in the short term. I’ll let you know when they’re more widely available in supermarkets again.
Cheers buddy. Congrats on making history btw
We’ve already had Belfast. Here’s the Gaoth Dobhair Celtic title celebration drive through earlier. Scenes replicated all over the country no doubt.
