I went into Luigi’s earlier but there was no sign of the man himself. As i was there i ordered a bag of chips and a chicken burger. I had to wait a few minutes while they cooked the chicken burger, but this delay was negated by the fact that the attendant threw in so many extra chips on top of the bag, no doubt sensing my appetite whilst also acknowledging my friendship with Luigi. The whole thing cost €5.10. I also got a can of pop for an extra euro…

I believe it has more to do with the respect/fear people in the Limerick Chipper business have of the Chip-Spy. If rumours are to be believed your picture is hung behind the counter of every chipper in Limerick, with the note “only serve this man the good stuff”. This would explain the wait for a fresh burger and the sprinkling of extra chips. Even further acknowledgement of the power the Limerick Chippers group has to make or break a Chip Shop.

Keep up the good work Dunph. Now that you’ve distanced yourself from that no good Puke the chipper group is free to go from strength to strength :clap: :clap:
