As good as ever, I ordered chips and fish, fresh fish that was generally excellent albiet a little small. People say the chips have gone downhill but canāt really agree, still have an original taste and are freshly cut. Portiuons could be bigger though.
Value for money: 5
Piss cheap, was set back 5-6 euro.
Staff appraisal: 5
One at the counter, knew what he was doing, bit grumpy but food and everything else was served quickly and efficently. Bit of banter about local GAA helped. In and out in a few minutes.

See above - top class, exactly what you want from a old school trad chipper.

Slightly bigger portions is the only compliant. Opening hours are a bit short as well. Still the nicest chipper in county Cork.
