Bobby is a welcome addition . He knows his Limerick chippers by the look of things. Tell us this Bobby how many points did you get in the Leaving Cert and finally are you a fan of the Munster Rugby Franchise?
I did my leaving cert in 1992 mate.
I got 8 pints. 2 in Sharkeys, 2 in The Perry, 1 in The Olde Tom, 1 in The Desmond and 2 above in Cheers.
I watch Munster on TV but gave up going to the games a few years ago when having to listen to idiots at games talking shite when they clearly knew nothing about the game. The same idiots who got corporate sponsored tickets when the average rugby fan couldnt get one.
Donât get me wrong, the franchise is good for the city and also for our youngsters but i personally donât buy into the hype.
Seems on the ball alright if probably a fat fucker by the sounds of things.
14 stone kid and fit as a fiddle.
Nothing wrong with chipper grub one or twice a week if you stay healthy and keep active.

Delighted to hear it pal.
Iâm sure bringing this up is going to refresh a few people memories.
A few years ago there was a girl working in Luigiâs who was absolutely superb when the place was packed.
She could go eight or nine deep in the queue, take everyones order and remember absolutely everything, 2 chips, fish, king burger, curry chips, 2 plain, 2 battered and a can of coke, then she would move to the next person and so on and so fort. Everything was remembered and as soon as a new customer arrived in she could take their order on top of it all.
A girl in Fuscoâs is exactly the same.
You would not get that level of chipper order rememberance in Dublin or Cork but then again itâs Limerick chippers we are discussing so nobody is surprised.

It has been mentioned a few times during the history of this thread that things we have grown to expect as a minimum standard from a Limerick chipper would be heralded as revolutionary in a Dublin or Cork chipper.
You are right on Luigis too, very hit and miss in recent years and is no longer in the top 5 chippers in the city.
Bobby Charltons cumlover wont last long on this forum
What is your foundation for that remark?
Are you a Kerryman?

Originally from the Southside but now on the Northside after spending a number of years living close to town.
Could you be a bit more vague there if you donât mind?
