Even at the end there, he ran up for the corner but then when the corner was wasted he ran back towards the centre circle and just stood there for a moment, wondering what he should do next

That was far better than I was expecting. Robinson looks class, O’Shea looks like he will be reliable. Molumby looks good. The problems are the old players.

Edit: and we looked tactically good. We’ve a huge amount to work with there

100%, Brady should start, I was ridiculed for saying as much previously, he has the ability to create something, a bit of class. I’ve always thought he has been decent in an Irish shirt

I think we need to move away from Brady, Hendrick and Hourihane. Brady and Hendrick can both play bit part roles but Hourihane no thanks. I thought Cullen and Molumby both did well tonight. They could have done with someone of Longs workrate though as they got swamped at times. Connolly offers very little.

Good shape. Better link play. 3-5-2 is a better fit. Midfield three were okay.

Negatives?
Keeper shite. Both centre halves at bad fault for goals. Doherty and Stevens offer nothing. Connolly not progressing at all. No goalscorer anywhere in the side

That goal could be vital yet if it comes down to head to head results between the two, mind you that is if we beat them at home.
