I know it’s widely established by now but it still warrants some thinking about. What on earth are RTÉ thinking about in keeping him employed? Nobody likes him, he’s objectively dreadful at his job, he has a whiny voice that must annoy anyone who has to travel abroad with him, he’s thick as shit and he’s not even controversial or anything. It’s extraordinary that he’s retained.
