Serie A 2016/17

Europe’s most exciting team, Napoli are in action against Genoa tonight.

Napoli have 5ft7 Mertens, 5ft5 Giaccherini and 5ft4 Insigne starting in attack tonight.

Burdisso - the evergreen warrior!

A proper hardman, not a cardboard posturing type like Queen.

Two question Nembo

1: why have Milan regressed so much .

2 ; Friday games ?? Is this new ??

  1. This year after the start they had or since the Ancelotti era? Right now they’re lacking in quality really, particularly in attack. As for in general, there has been massive downsizing, disastrous transfer policy and constant changes of managers. When they had top players they sold them in recent years - Shevchenko, Kaka, Silva, Zlatan - now they don’t have top players anymore though Baby Nesta and Gigio will be world class.

  2. No, been happening for the past couple of seasons anyway, though they’re not a weekly occurence.

Friday night games are scheduled to give whoever’s playing on the following Tuesday night in the Champions League more preparation and recovery time.

Burdisso superb again, 35 now.

I see a Serie A game had an attendance of 510 last weekend. Embarrassing stuff.

The biggest crowds these days in the Olympic Stadium in Rome would appear to be rugby matches . Italians are losing interest in calico .

Incorrect. Our Ultras are boycotting games over barriers erected in the Curvas. Unlike rugby fans, football fans have backbone.

What a tackle by DDR there.

Bright start from us.

Radja with a stunner.

Brilliant goal

DDR shouldn’t be on corners, he’s one of biggest threats on crosses into the box.

This is great from us, playing with real intensity and cohesion.

They’ve wasted a lot of good positions considering how much they’ve been on top

Great save Handanovic.

Gagliardini is quality.

Come on boys, grind it out here.
