Higuian seals, magic feet from Dybala to tee it up.
Napoli playing lovely stuff here, they lead Lazio 1-0 at the Olimpico.
We kept the heat on Juve with a 3-0 win today, we just need to keep applying it and hope they slip up along the way. A loss before we meet them means it’s in our own hands if we keep on winning.
Insigne makes it 2.
@Nembo_Kid I’ll be watching the italian U21s at the Euro’s in June. Who should I be watching out for?
It’s a very good side.
Berardi will be the main guy.
It depends how many of the senior players will go - the likes of Romagnoli, Rugani, Bernardeschi and Gagliardini are still eligible for it but I don’t know whether they will go and what benefit Di Biagio would see of bringing them.
Pellegrini is destined for the big time, he’s a Roma youth product who plays with Berardi at Sassuolo, Conti and Caldara have had superb seasons with Atalanta and will be part of the backline - Caldara in the middle and Conti is a full back.
There’s also the likes of Locatelli at Milan and Benassi of Torino who is the captain and a very tatented midfielder.
But Berardi and Pellegrini are the ones who excite me most.
@Nembo_Kid, I see Simone Inzhagi seems to making a fine fist of the Lazio job, Lazio result notwithstanding. I realise it was a bit of a clusterfuck how he got the role, but even still, that must be a bit of a shock? Wheres Pippo these days?
There a loads of goals in Serie A.
Pippo is my 3rd favourite footballer of all time, behind Totti and Twigg
Milan equalize in the 7th minute of injury time to snatch a draw in the derby. Decent game for 2 clubs in the doldrums. New Milan owners will be happy with the result anyway.
Allegri has extended his deal with Juve until 2020.
A rare defensive clusterfuck by Juve to let Atalanta equalize just there
Torino 1 up. Down to 10 men
Juve have won something like 30 consecutive home games in Serie A before tonight.
Pipita with a huge goal that will certainly seal the title in injury time.
Champions find a way
Had Torino held out it would have been in Roma’s hands to bring the title down to the last day of the season.
They were going really well though. They had picked up 12 wins and a draw in their first 17 league games under Pioli.
They have just gone on a horrible streak of no win in their last 7 including 5 defeats.
Hard to argue with the sacking with that in mind but your commentary is completely out of context with the happenings at that time.
The greatest national anthem in the world.
