Serie A 2016/17

His wife’d be well at home in that thread too I’d say.

Did anyone catch the Genoa derby there?

It was a terrific game as is the norm for Genoa derbies. There’s a real bitter rivalry between these two sides and they are always very high octane games where both sides go for it, played out in front a packed house and poor weather.

Genoa were very unlucky, they really went at Samp in the last 30 minutes. Pavoletti came off the bench for the last 15 mins or so and Samp couldn’t handle him, the wing back Edinilson kept getting down the line and swinging crosses in with Pavoletti winning everything in the air but not being able to convert one of them. He’s a player I really like, he is super at attacking crosses.

Milan and Juve at 7.45 at the San Siro. You can’t beat a full house at the San Siro, a Milan win would be great for the league, they seem to be gaining some defensive solidity with their all Italian back 5 and Montella is doing a great job with them. I’m hoping for a cracker, the atmosphere at the San Siro adds to these ocassions no end.

Locatelli, De Sciglio, Abate and Donnarumma - all graduates of the youth ranks start for Milan.

Brilliant start to this.

Locatelli has had a great start, he’s made a few crunching tackles in the middle of the pitch.

Dybala off with an injury.

Pity Dybala has to come off, lovely player. Milan doing well

Pjanic puts Juve 1 up.

Soft goal to give away

That has to be offside, Bonucci clearly interferes with play from an offside position.

Goal has been disallowed.

Disallowed

After all that Pjanic ends up with a yellow card instead of the opening goal. The right call by the refs btw

Lovely banner for Monty from the Curva Sud.

“Montolivo - The Sud is with you”

Barzagli is unreal.

Poor game since Dybala went off

Locatelli!!!

What a night for the 18 year old.

What a fucking goal Locatelli for Milan

What a strike

Immense defending from Barzagli there.

Poli for Niang.
