Il Galllllllllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
Barreca is the left back Italy have been missing for years.
Higuian 1-1.
Superb atmosphere at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino
Fantastic moustache on Gigi.
Higuian with a brilliant goal to win it.
The bastard, Torino have been the better side.
@Nembo_Kid
i watched all of Napoli Torino today
8 goals, wonderful entertainment
that belgian lad up front for Napoli with 7 in 2 games ( his name escapes me ) is lethal
brilliantly open game with horrendous defending on show, most uncharacteristic for italians one might add
Torino personify Mijhailovic, the defense is atrociiosuly bad but the look really nice foing forward, were wide open at the back, persisting with 4-3-3 all day, ah brilliant stuff, he looks insane on the line with that scarf
couldnt really fault Joe Hart , the lads in front if him are all over the place really
looking forward to Napoli - Viola on Thursday
Dries Mertens. His chip over Hart for his fourth goal was class.
Napoli are very good to watch, they’re the best team in Italy next to Juve but struggled with Milik out and it’s cost them this season.
Mertens on fire at the minute, they are signing Pavoletti in January but he’ll find it hard to get in with Mertens playing so well through the middle. Hamsik has to be up there as one of the very best midfielders in the world at the minute, Zielinksi has had a super start to his Napoli career too.
Torino lost Glik and Maksimovic in the close season and they haven’t been replaced, if they get a couple of centre backs in January they should be ok. I like both the full backs (Zappacosta and Barreca), they are really good bombing down the flanks.
How did Belotti do?
he did ok
a bit rash and impulsive tho,
in the first half there they were 2-0 and still very much in the game mind you as Napoli were giving the ball away at random, he was put thru on the edge of the box and instead of taking an extra touch just shot on sight , and youre thinking jesus , an extra touch there you had 2 yards on the center back and you could have scored
adem Lllajic looked good also , i thought one of their center backs Rossetini who even tho was inolved in a calamitous first half of defending was quite decent also
it was a really great game tho,
i watched the first 40 mins of a turgid bournemouth / soton game and this was most refreshing viewing
The Torino middle three are great to watch, Validifiori who was at Napoli last year is a proper footballer. Benassi and Baselli both love breaking forward and have goals in them.
There was a great interview with Valdifiori in Gazzetta two years ago, he was starring under Sarri for Empoli in his debut season in Serie A culminating in an international call up. He was earning fuck all at the time (something like €150k a year) and was driving around in a clapped out Fiat.
Banega with a great goal for Inter.
And another for Icardi
Icardi makes it 2.
Inter are a great team to watch
Improved immeasurably under Pioli.
Another for Icardi. Lazio fairly collapsed second half.
Another for Icardi.
Marchetti used to be a good keeper, now he is dogshit.
Gabigol with a lovely bit of skill there.
