Serie A season 2011/2012

To compound matters Osvaldo was sent off in injury time.

Tremendous set of results today with Napoli winning 2-0 at Lecce and our three main rivals all losing

Weā€™ll kill off Romaā€™s challenge on Saturday and with Udinese playing Lazio weā€™ll gain more ground there whatever happens.

Three very winnable fixtures to follow this weekendā€™s action as well.

Our hopes were killed off today mate, I hope Napoli beat us on Saturday and that cretin Enrique is driven out of this great club. Jose Angel is the worst player who has EVER donned a Roma jersey. Napoli are the best representatives out of the chasing pack.

Late goals from Marco Borriello and Kevin Prince Boateng were the deciding strikes for Juve and Milan in their respective matches.

Vucinic has given Juve the lead away at Novara

Cassano has AC a goal up as I type

The great one has put Milan 2 up. 24 league goals for the season

And another one for the great man in injury time to bring him to 25 for the season. Juventus were 4-0 winners at Novara.

Cassano, on his start in six months scores a goal and provides two assists. Welcome back Antonio!

If Udinese beat Lazio tonight, it will leave 4 teams tied on 55 points (Lazio, Napoli, Inter and Udinese), all vying for the final CL place.

Udinese have beaten Lazio 1-0.

Looks like Roma wonā€™t even get a Europa League spot next season.

Edit: 2-0 actually

What a fantastic player Antonio Di Natale is.

Wonderful scenes at the end in Udine. That kind of carry on only ever happens in either Serie A or a South Tipperary Intermediate championship game.

I wonder if Edy Reja will resign AGAIN.

That Andre Dias is some fucking pup, I despise him.

Lazio are a bunch of mopes.

Napoli are 2-0 up and cruising against Palermo - a penalty by Cavani and a neat Hamsik finish. Thatā€™s the third ridiculous penalty for handball Iā€™ve seen in the last 2 or 3 weeks after Ledley for Celtic and Alaba for Bayern Munich. Referees arenā€™t applying that rule right at all.

Well done Napoli, they look like they should hold onto that CL position - great news for them.

De Ceglie seems to have pulled or strained a muscle after five minutes for Juventus and has had to be replaced, disappointed by this as it may now damage his Euro 2012 chances. They were slim enough in fairness as he hasnā€™t been involved at all under Prandelli but heā€™s been in great form lately and Iā€™m not impressed by Balzaretti.

An early lead for Juventus through Marchisio, fair play to Conte, the prick. He has done an absolutely outstanding job.

Diego Fabbrini has Udinese 1-0 up against bottom of the table Cesena to keep their hopes of CL football on track.
