Serie A season 2012/2013

Pasqual hits the post with a great strike late on. I really don’t like Udinese, they come to games and off very little, very well organised side who sit back, absorb and then look to undo you on the break. Worse of all they overachieve every season, sell off their best players and do shit in Europe damaging Italy’s coefficient. I hope they miss out on Europe this season.

Stevan Jovetic wins it late on.

Justice.

It was a lovely goal, a fine diagonal ball from inside the Fiorentina half finds Jovetic, he takes it down expertly, faces down the defender with a stepover before placing the ball calmy in the bottom corner.

Juventus: Storari; Barzagli, Marrone, Bonucci; Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Giovinco, Vucinic

Parma: Mirante; Zaccardo, Paletta, Lucarelli; Rosi, Acquah, Valdes, Parolo, Gobbi; Pabon, Biabiany

Parma bench: Pavarini, Bajza, Fideleff, Benalouane, Musacci, Modesto, Morrone, Ninis, Belfodil, Pelle

I imagine Juventus will line-up something like Italy at the beginning of the European Championship with Marrone acting as a sweeper.

Great to see the yellow and blue hoops of Parma back in fashion.

Dreadful officiating as Juve get a penalty after Lichsteiner was fouled despite being clearly offside. Vidal misses the resulting penalty spot.

Juve beat Parma 2-0 yesterday evening, Lichsteiner and Pirlo on target.

Milan: Abbiati; De Sciglio, Bonera, Yepes, Antonini; Flamini, Montolivo, Nocerino; Boateng, El Shaarawy; Robinho
Sampdoria: Romero; Berardi, Gastaldello, Rossini, Costa; Obiang, Tissone, Poli; Estigarribia, Eder, Krsticic

Milan have been poor in the first half, the game remains scoreless.

Sampdoria lead.

Wooohooooo!!

What a save

De Sciglio looks like a very promising young player. Romero with an outstanding save from Yepes.

In the first minute of injury time the footballer formerly known as Boateng, has a deflected shot come back off the post.

Sampdoria hang in to 1-0 lead

Flamini shot blocked on the line. And it’s over. Great win for Sampdoria on their return to Serie A.

Apparently Inter had a very impressive win over Pescara on Sunday evening. I think Stramaccioni has something about them as a manager and they’ve had a good transfer campaign, getting rid of many of their veterans who were finished and bringing in some very solid performers in the prime of their careers.

Only one non italian in the starting line up for AC Milan tonight. Have had a small bet on Pazzini for first goalscorer at 9/2

Just tuning in now, Milan are leading 1-0 courtesy of a Pazzini penalty. De Sciglio is a fantastic prospect, wonderful pace and Abate will have a job on to retain his place when he returns from injury.

The Milan away strip is really smart.
