Really enjoyable game, Milan getting outplayed in midfield and Diamanti has been influential for Bologna. The pitch seems to be quite heavy and greasy which doesn’t really suit the football but it has been entertaining and there is a lot of needle whichi is always a good thing.

Milan rode their luck tonight, I don’t think they are entirely comfortable with this new 4-3-3 formation and lack guile in midfield - especially with Montolivo going off. The conditions were not ideal tonight however. Ambrosini, De Sciglio, Boateng and Acerbi were also good for Milan.

I’m delighted for Pazzini though, he’s a fantastic goalscorer and hopefully that puts an end to the nightmare 12 months he’s had. Cesare better call him up tomorrow.
