Shamrock Rovers to appoint Pat Fenlon as new manager

Sorry, I’m lying.

This is the guy:

His claim to fame was scoring twice in the crucial qualifier which set us up for a date with the Netherlands at Anfield, which of course we went on to lose.

He’ll be packing in the crowds in Tallaght no doubt.

This is how it feels to be Rovers
This is how it feels to be scum
This is how it feels when your club means nothing at all
Nothing at all

how does it feel that nutsy applied for the rovers job?

He agreed to meet them and he heard what they had to say. It was an interview alright, but the reverse of the usual type of interview.

Yeah, you have to call him Nutsy (or else you’re not cool)

fair fucks to ye sledgehammer.
your club is eating itself up and you’ve still found enough wit to laugh at Rovers.
You should be working for the bohs board with that positive outlook.(assuming your not already on the board!)

They need people of your sort at the moment it seems!
dont know if your an old enough bohs fan to remember 1982 bohs team and the subsequent 1983 Rovers team.
history has a habit of repeating itself.
tally ho .

I’ll always find enough wit to laugh at Rovers.

Fenlon probably would have went to Rovers had he been their number one choice - this would have made our current crisis a lot worse. So it is an opportunity to chuckle.
