Shinty & International Rules Series Thread - again, yes it's happening fucking again

Ireland are 6/5 to win this, surely we should be hammering a bunch of what Kev terms “abbos”?

You really have not taken me exposing you as a sneaky cunt that well have you.

To be expected I suppose.

@caoimhaoin
on a serious note do you think that this tournament is devalued now that the ozzies have not sent their strongest side and best players?
sending a bunch of abbo players is the equivilant of ireland sending a group of fellas from the Gaeltacht to the next series

Diarmuid Connlly would love this

wrong again…Connolly would be picky enough…he knows where to act to hardman and where not…he wouldn’t fancy a cut off a fella who would give it back to him…he’d mix with the likes of Lee keegan but would bring his manners against the like of Tom O Se…

its in the bar after the match i was referring to you dope

again you dope…that was a blindside haymaker to a guy minding his own business…

I was unsure of the correct term, so I assumed the term you used was the right one.

abbo-esque type stuff

The tribute band?

True, I heard he done it for a pack of smokes as well.

Paul Flynn has now had a Fingallians game moved so he can line out in this, with the Cork club game moved yesterday, this is another group of Club players fucked over for this thing. I’m sorry lads but fuck it, Club is Club and this is out of control now.

Big deal - it’s only a league game where there are still a number of other matches also left to play. His team just lost a champo final Wednesday after playing 4 champo games in 11 days. I’d imagine his team mates will be glad to lick their wounds for another week before picking up again in the league.

Then why not play it without him if its only a league game of no consequence? And they lost home advantage

It’s not of no consequence - they are battling relegation so club will want Flynn especially in their ranks. My point is that the deferral of the game has no neglible impact on the league competition as there are a number of other games also outstanding. The opposition Peregrines have also done well out of it as game has switched to their ground so win win all round. Only one moaning is you on who this game has no direct impact.

Ah so its ok to ask 50 players to change their plans and for a side to lose home advantage then. That seems fair. Would you ever fuck off. No one mentioned the league competition and how it affects it, its the players having plans changed again.
