Jackie Tyrell was lambasted by all and sundry for his claim that Limerick weren’t a top 3 team this year. Without needing a playoff to determine the 3rd place team I think we can all agree that he was indeed correct and it took some balls to say it when it would have suited him better to keep his thoughts to himself. It wouldn’t be in his nature but I really hope he sticks the boot into those lads that questioned him in his column this Friday
