It’s only to be expected that most neutrals would support Galway against a team that has won five All-Irelands in this decade.
Lapsed poster and Galway resident @Nembo_Kid was particularly vociferous in his support for Galway. I’d say if @Nembo_Kid is still keeping an eye on proceedings here from a distance, he’d be shocked by the scurrilous attacks on Joe.

On a sidenote, i rang my mother this morning and was talking about the Monaghan Galway Super 8’s game. It took a while to dawn on me but she was dropping “we” in here and there. I says “You were cheering for Monaghan, yeah?”
“I was in me hole” she says.
46 years in Monaghan but the maroon blood flowing strong.
