I didn’t hear that.

He produced Suicide’s second record too, which is a banger

That’s a tough shot to take

Informative rating.

I was listening to their debut only yesterday. A masterpiece.

He did the first Weezer too, and tonnes of other stuff ( GBV, Bad Brains…)

Kim Shattuck, RIP. ALS, also known as Lou Gherigs Disease.

:astonished:

She took over for a brief period as Kim Deal’s replacement in the Pixies.

She did indeed. Not for long mind you, they binned her, in her opinion, for doing a stage dive.

In an interview with NME , Shattuck speculated that the band dismissed her for taking a stage dive at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles. “I know they weren’t thrilled about that,” she said. “When I got offstage, the manager told me not to do that again. I said, ‘Really, for my own safety?’ And he said, ‘No, because the Pixies don’t do that.’”

Her reworking of Kids in America in Clueless gained her most of her fame outside the hardcore punk scene.

I wonder what lapsed poster from Carlow @GeoffreyBoycott would make of the news that Willie Frazer was a terrorist. He seemed to have a lot of time for Mr Frazer. Willie set up a series of “victim groups” over the years but was he siphoning funds off to the UDA to buy weapons?

Well he was siphoning victims’ money off - a lot of it European money - but a lot of people think it was going into his own pocket.

Ah feck

He scored two great points in the 1991 final

Was he not managing Down recently?

Until just last year

He managed them to the 2017 Ulster final

Holy fuck. Whats the cause of death?

I don’t know but apparently it was “sudden” according to local MP Chris Hazzard
