Possible a celeb? Knew the song Sugarman from a David Holmes compilation years back but didn’t know anything bout the man until the documentary.

In Australia many years ago, I asked my then father-in-law for a music recommendation from his heyday in the '70’s. Without hesitation, he said, ‘Rodriguez’. Phenomenal voice, gorgeous melodies. They found him eventually. I was fortunate enough to see him live in Vicar St in Nov 2012 and it was a brilliant gig. I never watched the documentary as I always hung onto a ridiculous pretentiousness that I discovered his music before the documentary revived his popularity. In a strange twist of fate, I watched the documentary last night, and enjoyed it. Today he’s dead. A rare artist who embodied humility that humans such as I, could learn much from.

I was in her company once upon a time for a day in London. She was quite a nice lady and Sir Anthony was a perfect gentleman.
The same night I was pushed home in a shopping trolley by Powery after we over indulged on the beverages in Shepherd’s Bush.
