Significant people's (not celebrities) deaths

That and Moneypoint on the other side of the estuary basically kept the Midwest afloat through what was otherwise a dark economic period in Irish history. Lads making what seemed like crazy money when the rest of the country barely had a pot to piss in (with the obvious exception of the comfortable north county Dublin existence of @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy and his ilk).

Donā€™t forget the bankers.
The were absolutely rolling in it back then.

RIP. I wasnā€™t familiar with the chapā€™s work even though heā€™s from Wexford & went to my old secondary school.

Poor Saoirse Ruane has passed away it seems
She was an incredible little girl, RIP

Thankfully we have @Kyleā€™s burner Twitter account on hand to state the cause of death.

Least he kept granny safe

Heā€™s two years younger than me and I canā€™t place him. Then again, I went to the brothers.

Died penniless in a one bed flat in Kilburn. Powery used to work for him.

Danny O Neill the bone setter ā€¦also owner of Danoliā€¦a legend of rural Ireland and Country traditions. Healed and handled hundreds of thousands of people.

Was he related to him or was his nickname as a result of the rate he transferred energy?

Not related. Half of Waterford are Powers

And the other half are Walsh/Welsh

Emmet Stagg.

Wonder will Paul Gogarty be attending the funeral.

Donā€™t know how much he achieved politically but will probably be best remembered for that DĆ”il exchange and an awkward encounter in the Phoenix Park.

Twas with another stag wasnā€™t it?

Two stags butted heads in a secluded part of Phoenix Park.

Not a doe in sight

I recall that happening. I would have been 11. I recall wondering what the big deal was about him being found in the Phoenix Park.
