Significant people's (not celebrities) deaths

Decent club player, think he’s still tipping away with their juniors.

He did yeah, he was very sick but recovered. Last I heard he was in Australia. Brian is Muls cousin of course.

Fuckin hell, poor Micheal not even a few hours dead and @thelimericks making it all about themselves.

He was highly rated. I remember being in awe of Eoin Ryan.

I assumed Kirby, Eoin Ryan and Shaughs would deliver multiple all Irelands for Limerick.

They would sicken your shit

I didn’t actually mean this as a hypothetical abuse on ger canning it was a genuine question. Why was Michael never on the telly?

His own call i believe, preferred radio

Radio is pure commentary, to do the telly you just need to know the players names

Jesus that’s awful.

RIP.

29 years of age. Suffered a stroke.

I didn’t think they could happen to someone so young? Awful tragedy.

The beauty of Mícheál was that he commented in an era when it still felt like every game mattered. That was exemplified when Mícheál was in the commentary box. There were no Super 8’s, Round Robin or dead rubber Tailteann Cup games in his day. I’m sure he still managed to paint a great picture of those Wicklow v Antrim Tommy Murphy cup games in 2007-08. It felt like a big deal when Wicklow won that under Micko in 2007.
