Billy Bonds dying may have sealed Arne Slot’s fate.

The 'Ammers will surely play out of their skins today.

RIP Billy. Saw him play many times at White Hart Lane in the late 70’s and 80’s.

It will be a very emotional Boleyn Ground later.

Little know fact about him, he radically rewrote Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade under the pen name Barry Watson, and is credited with adding a clatter of the better parts of it, including the Marcus Brody piece about him being an elite spy, with friends in every town and how he’d blend in anywhere - cut to him, lost and blithering in a Turkish market asking does anyone speak Ancient Greek.

‘She talks in her sleep’ was his too

Ahh that’s sad. He was very good on the TV shows he contributed to. Didn’t know he was ill.

Seems like it was sudden. I generally liked him too and enjoyed the shows restorations of the old houses especially.

Ah that’s a shock. RIP. He seemed like an alright sort on the tv anyway.

Brendan Courtney was covering Oliver Callan’ spot on rte when the news came through. Himself and Hugh were at some awards thing on Friday night together and had a great night. Brendan was understandably quite emotional
